The Company
This major manufacturer have been a market leader in their field for many years, with an excellent worldwide branding. Producing a product range second to none, their products are used across the globe and can operate in a wide range of terrain and environment. Used within the construction industry over all continents, my client have a strong dealer network. Offering excellent after service support and solution, this company can provide top of the range products to a full range of clients predominantly through a distributor network. Due to the highly successful launch of products in this new division, they are now seeking to recruit two senior professional sales people to maximise the huge sales opportunity within the UK.
The Role
Your responsibility will be to manage a small team of Technical Instructors and a Service Training Manager. The role of the department is to train dealers on how to service the company`s products, delegates will be field engineers who will be undertaking repair and maintenance of the product range and also the field sales team who need to understand the technical issues of the products. You will have a strong background in delivering training programs and, whilst the contents of the courses will often be prescribed due to the technical content, you will be involved in design and promotion of new training programmes and methods. On occasion you will be personally involved in delivering training and therefore you be able to lead and work as part of the Training and Development Team.
The Person
My client seed an outstanding individual who is passionate about training and it`s importance within an organisation. Successful candidates will :- - Have a proven track record of a similar role, ideally in capital equipment or construction or agricultural machinery, where aftermarket support is key - Evidence of previous training and presentation are essential. - A formal training or teaching qualification would be considered an advantage - Strong communication skills
